An awesome little weekend stay. The room was huge and our views of the city were amazing. All the staff we dealt with were just lovely and couldn't be more helpful .... In fact one members of staff at the bar 'Kirsty I think her name was' was soooo lovely that when chatting to her at the bar while ordering our drinks, asked me how my day had been and what we had been up to, I explained we were up here for my wife's birthday, we had laugh and a giggle about our day and then I took my drinks over to my wife. 5 mins later Kirsty... (I do hope I have her name right) appeared at our table and proceeded to wish my wife a happy birthday and gave my wife a box of chocolates and a small bottle of prosecco.... We were both so touched and it totally made our entire weekend..... She didn't have to do that... Just purely out of the kindness of her heart and it was such a lovely thing to do. Thank you so much and whenever we stay in Glasgow again we will defo be booking that hotel again
A five minute walk from Queen Street station and the city. Had very good reception any time I needed it. It was very peaceful. No creaky floor boards. Great bath and shower. Always the most comfortable bed. There were eateries across the road and coffee shop. And a restaurant in the Inn.
Great hotel in Glasgow town. Close to the train and bus stations.The rooms are comfortable, the food is very good value ( the meal deal is a great offer). The staff are friendly and helpful. Free WiFi is a bonus. Recommended.
This was an exceptional hotel for the price point! The room was clean and comfortable, and the lobby was spacious. Lots of room to sit for a drink or meal. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and refreshed regularly. They also had gluten free options available! The staff were professional, helpful and kind! A great locations, minutes to the Queen train station and George Square. On a major bus route and 2 mins from the subway! Highly recommend!
You always know what you are getting with a premier inn. Beds are always great. We had a particularly spacious room on the first floor. Breakfast was excellent and I love the restaurant decor. Good value for money.
Just back from a stay in this hotel and the next time I'm in Glasgow I'll stay here again. Centrally situated, friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble, our room was spotless with a lovely, comfy bed and the breakfast buffet had loads of choice plus it was tasty, what more can you ask from a hotel? Well done Premier Inn George Square/Street.
We usually stay at Premier Inn Sauchiehall st but decided on a change this time. We weren't disappointed! I didn't like the check Inn much prefer the desk with a nice person greeting. The rooms were clean if a little care worn, nice walk in shower. The staff were very nice and helpful, I have food allergies they were able to reassure me and the food was very well cooked and tasty. I think we will be staying there again on our next Glasgow trip.
One of the nicer premier inns to stay in, staff were quick, helpful & friendly in getting us checked into the room and offered us to contact them if anything is needed. Room is nice and clean, no visible issues although the shower temperature seems to switch between hot & cold sometimes rather than just staying in the middle.
